Bhavani School successfully conducted a two-day Teachers’ Training Programme (CBP) focused on Competency-Based Assessment, aimed at strengthening effective classroom practices and enhancing student-centric learning outcomes.

The training programme was designed to equip teachers with a deeper understanding of competency-based education, assessment strategies, and alignment with the National Education Policy (NEP) guidelines. Over the course of two days, teachers engaged in interactive sessions, hands-on activities, and practical discussions on framing competency-based questions, assessing higher-order thinking skills, and designing assessments that go beyond rote learning.

The sessions emphasised real-life application of concepts, formative and summative assessment techniques, rubrics, and learner-centric evaluation methods. Teachers actively participated in group work, case studies, and collaborative planning, making the training both enriching and impactful.

The programme concluded with reflective discussions, enabling educators to share key takeaways and strategies for effective classroom implementation. The two-day CBP reinforced Bhavani School’s commitment to continuous professional development and excellence in teaching-learning practices.

Bhavani School remains dedicated to empowering its educators with the latest pedagogical approaches to nurture confident, competent, and future-ready learners.
