On September 18, 2024, Bhavani School proudly hosted a live streaming of the NPS Vatsalya Scheme launch event, presided over by Union Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman. The event, aimed at securing the financial future of children, was attended virtually by students, teachers, and administrators, highlighting the importance of early savings.

The NPS Vatsalya Scheme allows parents and guardians to contribute to a pension plan for their minor children, with the potential for these accounts to convert seamlessly into regular National Pension System (NPS) accounts when the child reaches adulthood. It offers a flexible range of investment options, empowering families to plan ahead for long-term financial security.

The event featured distinguished speakers such as Deepak Mohanty, Chairman of PFRDA, and Pankaj Choudhary, Minister of State for Finance, who emphasized the critical role of early saving and the power of compound interest.
